For over 10 years Paul has been placing his songs and music in some of today's top television shows and films. The Ghost Whisperer, One Tree Hill, Felicity, Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, Jag, Providence, Angel and Third Watch are just a few examples of the television shows which gravitate toward his writing.

Additionally Paul has toured with some of the best and brightest artists. Melissa Etheridge, Lifehouse, Mandy Moore, Don Felder, Katey Segal, Suzanne Hoffs, Jude Cole, and Meridith Brooks are a sampling of the many bands and artists that have invited Paul to join them.

Paul has worked with many of todays top record producers as well. Phil Ramone, Chris Lord-Algae, Tony Visconte and David Cole just to name a few.

Attending The New England Conservatory of Music at the age of 11, Paul brings his unique talents to Pie in the I Publishing as well as years of experience in several aspects of our forever changing and evolving industry.

Troy King has been a member of the Los Angeles music scene since the late 1980’s.  Upon earning his Degree in music performance and composition from California State University Northridge, he embarked on a successful touring, recording and writing career.

As former owner of the North Hollywood based “Clearlake” studios, Troy has worked with various local bands and artist such as Portrait, Cher, No Doubt, Paula Abdul, Dishwalla, Bush, Tina Turner and Los Lobos, just to name a few. 

His music and percussion contributions can be heard on NBC, ABC, Disney Channel, ESPN and Discovery Channel.

Dave Darling - Producer/Writer/Mixer

Brian Setzer, Stray Cats, Def Leppard, Meredith Brooks, Jack Johnson, Tom Waits, Queen Latifa and Motley Crüe are just a few of the artist this eclectic Los Angeles musician has worked with.

Starting on the other side of the glass in the mid nineties, Dave released two records on Atlantic Records with his band Boxing Gandhis, scoring a hit at AAA radio and a Billboard video award with his song “If You Love Me”.  After that he joined forces with friend and Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx to form the experimental industrial band 58, releasing one record on BMG.

Dave has produced two songs and one album that have been nominated for Grammys.

In addition to making records, Dave has written, or produced music for everything from major motion pictures – What A Girl Wants, Brady Bunch Movie and Father of the Bride, to national commercials – Ritz Crackers, Lincoln Navigator, 2008 Olympics, to television shows – Monday Night Football, Disney House Of Mouse, Scrubs and a junior high school dance recital for his niece.

Dave's ability to move freely between and combine different genres of music stems from a true love of all things noisy.

Thomas Dawson - Musician/Producer/Composer

Thomas is an accomplished musician, producer and composer that collaborates with some of the most successful artists in the music industry today.  His diverse talents as a keyboardist are only exceeded by his genius as a studio engineer at the forefront of music technology trends. Thomas has performed on stage with internationally renowned artists such as Kelly Rowan, Eric Bennette and Howard Hewitt.  As the keyboard player for The Commodores Thomas not only performs but co-produces for this legendary group.  His producing credits include projects with music icon BEYONCE! In addition, Thomas has produced several projects of his own with the jazz group Finger Roll.  The first of these projects won the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Jazz Discovery competition.

As computer technology has become more vital in every aspect of the music industry, Thomas has excelled as a consummate Recording Engineer.   His experience and training as a musician, combined with his knowledge of computer technology, has made him one of the most sought after studio engineers in the business.  He is independently scoring entire sound tracks for up and coming directors and expanding into mastering the integration of video and music production.  Thomas' reputation as a creative artist and versatile professional has also allowed him to transcend the boundaries of all music genres including gospel music by working with the acclaimed gospel group, The Wynanns.  

On stage, Thomas' passion for music is heard in the rhythm of his work and seen in the eyes of audiences that marvel at his talent.  He has received a Gold Album for his work with Changing Faces and performed on other projects that have sold thousands of copies.  Of his many accomplishments, Thomas is particularly proud of scoring the music for a full length feature film entitled, “They Call Him Sasquatch” directed by David Venghaus.  Mr. Venghaus has worked as the first assistant director for Steven Spielberg for many years and is now excelling as a director in his own endeavors.

Thomas Dawson continues to thrive as an artist, producer, arranger and engineer in the dynamically changing entertainment industry.  His creative versatility, professionalism and character ensure that his success will be sustained for years to come.

After graduating from Chapman University School of Music, James studied with Los Angeles Philharmonic Composer in Residence William Kraft, composer/conductor William D. Hall and composer Michael Martin.  Also, interested in stage musicals, James was member of the Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop, instructed by John Sparks.

James has worked with composer Robert Drasnin, former instructor of the UCLA film scoring program and former Director of Music for CBS Television.

Recently, James recorded his music with the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra.

His creative genius will also soon be heard in the upcoming feature film, “Way of War”, starring Cuba Gooding Jr., for which James composed the entire orchestral score.

Brady’s musical career started in Chicago where he cut his teeth as a guitar player and songwriter in various local bands. During that time, he released three DIY records honing his skills as a writer, composer and engineer.

Since moving to Los Angeles almost a decade ago, Brady has toured with Lisa Germano and played guitar on her latest studio release. Additionally, Brady has collaborated and performed with members of Soul Coughing, Eels, The Aluminum Group and The Bo Deans.

For the past seven years, he has partnered with Paul Trudeau, writing songs for both film and TV. Brady’s passion for music truly shines when he is creating soundscapes or as Paul describes: “moody broody Brady music”.

Brady is comfortable writing in a variety of different musical genres for films and TV. His work has been featured and can be heard in various shows including Brothers and Sisters, Summerland, Jack and Bobbie, True Hollywood Stories and Dr 90210.

Jimmie Roach - Guitarist/Bassist/Producer/Writer

Jimmie Roach is a 9 time platinum Guitarist/Producer who has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of music.

In his 25 years of being in the music industry, Jimmie has played lead guitar for many people including the following A-list musicians: Bobby Womack, Etta James, Cecil Womack, Mary Wells, Ike Turner and Redd Foxx.

Jimmie has also worked with A-List producers including: Shakespear, Jelly Roll, Arthur Brown, Kieth Clark, Flawless, Blaqthoven, Daz, Superfly, Booker T. Jr., and Shep.

Most recently Jimmie recorded some CD’s with Snoop Dogg and worked with producer Meech Wells under Priority Records.

Jimmie’s superb guitar playing has led him to play with many phenomenal musicians of many different genres, which has increased his abilities and his love for what he does.
